Being an avid user of steam rooms and wet saunas 3-4 times a week, I felt the full impact of the Covid-19 lockdown.
Whilst browsing online I came across what I thought to be a wonderful substitute in the form of a portable steam room. Five days later, there I was sitting inside my very own portable steam room in the comfort of my own home. What an amazing, nostalgic feeling! Although the big puddle I had the pleasure of cleaning for the next 2 hours made me question my decision to prioritise price relative to quality.
The Search
Fast Forward Four Days
I found myself searching for an alternative which would give me the same pleasure minus the pain of cleaning. Having ordered my second portable steam room for double the price I would have expected double the quality, but I found myself having to use masking tape to keep the stainless-steel frame intact. Although the company kindly sent me a replacement, I noticed a huge glitch with the performance of the steam generating machine.
This is when I decided to take it upon myself to custom create my own portable steam room AKA ‘The Original Steam Booth’ was born!
